👉 As a Panel Beater, your key responsibilities will include stripping and refitting vehicle components, repairing panel damage on various vehicles to a high standard, and conducting partial panel replacements. Additionally, you will perform jig work to ensure vehicles are restored to their pre-accident condition. Given the nature of this role, previous or current ATA (Automotive Technician Accreditation) level experience is required to ensure that you can deliver the quality of work we strive for.

#Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and assess damaged vehicles to determine necessary repair work.

• Carry out panel replacement and repair, ensuring all work meets industry standards and specifications.

• Strip and refit panels and other related components as required.

• Perform jig work to realign and restore vehicles to their original specifications.

• Utilise various hand tools and equipment safely and effectively to complete repairs.

• Collaborate with other workshop team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality output.

• Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.

• Keep up to date with the latest industry practices, technologies, and equipment.

• Participate in training and development opportunities as required.


#Qualifications and Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum ATA Level experience in panel beating or a similar role.

• Technical Skills: Proficient in panel replacement, repairing damaged panels, and jig work.

• Team Player: Strong ability to work effectively as part of a team in a high-pressure environment.

• Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail to ensure high standards of vehicle repair.

• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues quickly and implement effective solutions.

• Tools and Equipment: Familiarity with the safe use of hand tools and workshop machinery.

• Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills to liaise with team members and supervisors.

#Preferred Qualifications:

• Completion of a recognised apprenticeship or technical training in automotive body repair.

• Previous experience in a busy workshop setting.

• Current certification for specific tools or equipment is advantageous.
